"Proposed Change: Christopher Calvert (I4853)
Tree: The Kingealogy

Description: Christopher Calvert b. abt. 1611 d, 1682 was my 7th GG.  His haplogroup was R-Z16502, meaning he was NOT related to Calvert family of Bolton, Lancashire.  y-DNA-67 also does NOT match Calvert family of Lancashire. R-Z16502 if found in counties of Northamptonshire, Bedford, and Derbyshire NOT Yorkshire/Lancashire) and mutated from FGC5494 approx. 1500 BC to 2500 BC, or 4,000 years ago. However, I do have a y-DNA-37 match with William Calvert (1852-1907)>John Calvert> William Calvert.  William, John, and William lived in Lancashire. I have identical y-DAN-67 matches with descendants of William and Temperance Robins Calvert of York and Henrico Cos, Virginia.  Also went under the surnames Colvard and Colbert. Related to Chickasaw Colbert and descendants of Benjamin Colvard, Jr. and Betty Brown, sister of Sally Hemings of Monticello, Albemarle Co, Virginia.
