- According to Wallace Foster Mc Kimmee, in 1969, "Aunt Sis Postlethwait is still living or was last fall of 1969. She will celebrate their 102nd birthday, on March 22, 1970. I hear that she is quite feeble, and more or less unstable mentally but wouldn't we all like to be at her age. Just think she was born back in those hills less than 3 years after Lincoln was assassinated. The stories she could tell on if she were well and mentally alert."

Shortly after April 1, 1970 Mr. Mc Kimmee received a newspaper clipping stating "Paden City Mayor Sets ' Aunt Sis" Day" . It states her as the oldest living Citizen at 103. States she was born March 22, 1967.At this time she had one son still living Ferrell Postlethwait. Also states that she had 6 children, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
