- Wallace was a certified bachelor for the whole of his life. He never married and after being single and living in Southern Califronia since 1925, he returned in 1978 to live in Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia.
During his life he served as a radio technician in the US Air Force and he was also a Hollywood businessman for many years.
After his retirement, he devoted his time to genealogy, and has added much to the histories of several families, including the data on these pages. Wallace also saw that many of the small West Virginia cemeteries were kept tended. Not only his family but many families in the state of West Virginia owe Wallace a debt that can never be repaid.
