15198 | I15069 | Trotter | Mary Ann Tryphena | 19 Jan 1879 | 05 Jul 1969 | 0 | 1880 is an alternate date of birth for Mary as taken from the information in the 1920 Sevier County, Tennessee Census. Mary and family were listed in the 1920 Federal Census of Sevier County, Tennessee. The information is below: WALKER John 47 owned home TN Mary T. 40 TN John Ernest 16 George W. 15 Ethel J. 13 Minnie L. 12 Lucy E. 10 Mary 9 Daniel 6 Lena M. 4 Ina Alice 2 This is the lady I called "Grandma Walker". She was an white haired lady who I can barely remember. The big house she lived in was in Wear's Valley and you had to drive through a stream to get there. They eventually built a bridge. On one visit I remember chickens in the barn. Grandma Walker always wanted to hold me on her lap and I knew she was very old, but I was not afraid of her. The last things I remember was going to the house and she was very ill. Bedridden. I did not go see her but Mama did. This is about all I remember about Grandma Walker, but I remember well her kind face. They had an outside toilet. Alice Foster Blevins.
