Surname: Long, Dulaney, Brock
NORMAN A LONG 65, died August 4, 1983. Born May 29, 1918 in Wileyville, he was the son of the late Jesse H. Long and Lenora "Leah" [Dulaney] Long/Gump. He was a former surgical assistant at the Lewis A Johnson Veteran's Administration Medical Center, who retired with more than 30 years service. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army, a member of Clarksburg Lodge 482, BPOE for the past 20 years, and a member of the Stealey United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ada Yoho Long, whom he married June 30, 1944; one son, Lanny L:. Long, Clarksburg; one daughter, Ms. Linda S Moll, Youngstown, OH; three grandchildren; one sister Mrs Mildred Dulaney, Paden City; one brother, Joseph E. Long, Pine Grove; several nieces and nephews, and his stepfather, Hiram Gump, Wintersville, OH.
Preceding him in death was one brother, Homer Long. Interment at Northview
Cemetery, New Martinsville WV. on Aug 8, 1983.
