JAMES PARK WAS THE ELDEST SON OF ANDREW AND SARAH PARK JR. WAS A VERY RELIGIOUS MAN AND WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN HELPING TO ESTABLISH A CHURCH AT PAWPAW,NOW KNOWN ASTHE HIGHLAND CHURCH IN MARION COUNTY. HE THEN MOVED TO Wetzel County, West VirginiaUNTY AND HELPED TO BUILD AND ESTABLISH THE CHURCH AT LOWGAP WHERE HE AND MANY OF HIS FAMILY ARE BURIED.
