5008 | Many researchers have his name listed as Nathaniel Lewis King. Dee Lansford and a few others lists Nathaniel's given names as Lewis Wilson. Alice Foster Blevins lists his given and surname as LOUIS WILSON KING. She is the only source I have ever seen that has the full birth date information listed for this individual and do to that fact I am inclined to believe his name may have been Natheniel Louis Wilson King. I had previousaly had his name listed as Nathaniel Lewis Wilson King. Nathaniel King was born in 1827 in Sevier County, Tennessee. He married Eva Rosanna Maples, the daughter of Abijah Maples and Elizabeth McMahan, in 1849 in Sevier County, Tennessee. They were the parents of at least five children, but there may have been more, who all remained in and around Sevier County, Tennessee. Nathan died in 1876 in Sevier County, Tennessee, although some list it as Missouri. Roseann went on to marry Thomas (Tom) Jones Walker on April 03 1879. 5011 | Margaret Jane King Walker was born July 18, 1846 in Sevier County, Tennessee. The birth dates of 1836 and 1847 are also seen. I believe the 1847 date is due to the two census records below listing her as such. She married March 29, 1866 in Sevier County, Tennessee, John N. Walker, the son of Thomas Walker and Eliza Jane Myers. (He was the brother of William Walker, who married Margaret Jane King's sister Sarah Malinda King.) After their marriage, they moved into the Wiley King home at Little Greenbrier Cove, with Margaret Jane's mother, and they subsequently purchased the property there. Margaret and her family are listed in the 1870 Federal Census of Sevier County, Tennessee. The entry is below: John N. 29 (1841) Margaret J. 23 (1847) James T. 3 (1867) William W. 1 (1869) She and her family were also in the 1880 Federal Census of Sevier County, Tennessee. The entry is below: John N. 39 (1841) Margaret 33 (1847) John T. 12 (1868) William W. 10 (1870) Margaret J. 8 (1872) John H. 6 (1874) Mary E. 4 (1876) Martha A. 3 (1877) Nancy M. 4/12 (1880) Margaret King 77 (1803) Margaret Jane King Walker died January 15, 1909. They were the parents of 11 children. The children all remained in and around Sevier County, Tennessee. Five of their six daughters never married, and they remained in the family home until the last of the unmarried sisters died in 1964. This property is known as the Walker Sisters Cabin and is still standing in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
